Since 1988, the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has provided a special camp experience for children with cancer and other serious blood diseases from the United States and abroad — free of charge. Founded by Paul Newman and a group of generous, talented people, the camp is located on over 325 acres with a 44-acre lake in eastern Connecticut.

Over 1000 campers ages seven to fifteen enjoy nature, swimming, theatre, art, poetry, singing, dancing and horse back riding each summer. There is a medical clinic, named by campers and called the "O.K. Corral," providing round-the-clock care with doctors and nurses. For parents, the infirmary provides quiet reassurance that every medical need is well covered. Camp-sponsored programs for parents, campers, health care professionals and social workers provide ongoing support and training throughout the years.

The Hole in the Wall Gang campers experience more than a joyous holiday. Camp is a critical experience in their lives, encouraging the heart, enlarging the spirit and empowering the will, all year long.

The Camp relies on the support and generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations to continue operating each year. If you would like to support this terrific place, please send you donation to:
